:: Academic Rules ::Certificate & Degree For student entering this program with M.Div. degree one will be awarded with a D.Min. degree after completion of Certificate of Nehemiah, Certificate of Ezra, and D.Min. dissertation. For student entering this program without M.Div. degree after completion of Certificate of Nehemiah, Certificate of Ezra, and one’s dissertation, one will be recognized as in graduate study. The student will then have seven years to finish a M.Div. degree in a recognized seminary. ROLPLI will confer the student’s D.Min. degree at the completion of one’s M.Div. degree.
Admission Requirement
• Accept ROLPLI’s statement of faith.
Semester System There are two regular semesters plus summer sessions whenever there is a need: Fall Semester (September to December), Spring Semester (January to April), Summer Sessions (May to August). ROLPLI will offer 4 to 8 credit hours of courses each semester. The offered courses and class locations will be announced 2 months before the beginning of the semester.
Tuition US$300/credit hour
Grade Scale Letter grade will be used in academic evaluation. The passing grade is B-. Any grade that is below C- is considered as F(ailure). The numerical equivalence of the letter grade is as following:
Classroom Location
Certificate of Nehemiah Courses are offered in the ROLPLI campus
(Santa Clara, CA) in a typical duration of 3 to 6 months. The students
who have been serving in the ministry positions of River of Life Christian
Church may be waived from taking certain courses after validation. ROLPLI
will help arrange the room and board for the students.
Course Requirement Each semester credit hour consists of 16 lecture hours plus 2-3 hours of class assignment per each lecture hour. Ezra courses are intensive class type seminars with each being conducted in one or two weeks of time. Nehemiah courses are conducted in ROLPLI campus in several weeks. Intensive courses start 2 months before lecture time for course reading assignment, and end 2 months after lecture time for completing course project. Web-cam type discussion will be provided outside of lecture time to supplement the discussion among professor and students.
